What's special about this cable: unlike the original Apple MagSafe 2 adapter (where the cable is fixed to the adapter), this is a separate cable with USB-C on the other end. If only your cable is broken or worn out, you only replace the cable and not the entire expensive adapter. Works with any USB-C Power Delivery adapter from 30W to 140W. The magnetic MagSafe connection clicks firmly onto your MacBook and detaches if someone trips over the cable.
